Percy's BBQ Milton Keynes - Review of Special Greek BBQ Box

Whether you have tried Percy's BBQ in Milton Keynes or not, be sure to check out their Greek BBQ Box Special available for a limited time only...

It's no secret I love Greek food and after enjoying the gyros at the The Centre:MK Christmas food market I had been praying a restaurant offering Greek cuisine would emerge…

No restaurant as of yet but I couldn't believe my luck when I saw one of my favourite takeaways Percy’s had now added a special Greek BBQ Box to their menu - I couldn't wait to try it!

The box was divine containing almost everything you would expect to see from a Greek special, though minus olives unfortunately. You have the option to choose chicken or lamb kofta - I chose chicken. Upon arrival, I couldn't believe how much food was contained within the box, which was certainly ample for two to share.

Succulent pieces of marinated chicken with a classic tzatziki dip, warm flatbread, halloumi and seasoned fries, which were mouth-wateringly good were all included! Underneath the tasty chips and chicken was feta cheese and Greek Salad staples of cucumber and tomatoes. The box really did have it all and I was in cheese heaven with the feta and halloumi!

Having tried it, I can't honestly say Percy’s has excelled itself with this special, which really is a niche in the MK food market. Unfortunately, as it stands the Special Greek BBQ Box is only available until the end of the month so you'll have to get in quick to try it.

If Greek food isn't your bag, Percy’s do a fantastic selection of BBQ food to satisfy all tastes. Other food eaten and recommended includes: Hand Pulled Pork, California Burger which has Swiss cheese and smoked bacon as well as the Pork-Wich; cajun pork steak with chorizo, smoked bacon and pulled pork. As for sides the BBQ beans are a great accompaniment to the burgers and did I mention the Mac N Smoked cheese…delicious! If that wasn't enough, Percy’s also do a great selection of desserts and I particularly enjoyed the Butterscotch & Pecan Sundae.

Don't just take my word for it, check out the menu here.

To order you will need to check online to see whether you're covered by the Crownhill or Willen Store for delivery or collection with the website available on a link here.

Have you tried the Greek BBQ Box Special? I'd love to hear from (maybe we could group together and start a protest for Percy’s to keep it on the menu…😂)
