My name is Jasmine and I am a self-confessed couch potato and film lover with a penchant for exploring when the mood takes me... In fact, the mood has taken me quite a bit since I started this blog and it could be said that I am currently guilty of living a champagne lifestyle on a coca-cola budget!
I have a real passion for all things food, fashion and film related. I am a Film & TV BA Honours Graduate and whilst I now work in the Property Industry, you will note many film references as comparisons for many of the places I visit.
At the age of seventeen I was lucky enough to meet my soulmate Adam in a nightclub of all places; fifteen years later we're still going strong and I am so thankful that he came into my life as he really has been my rock over the years. Together, we are proud parents to two rabbits called Buzz & Woody.
I've always wanted to travel and in an ideal world this would be a travel blog but you read about my coca-cola budget right?! I love photography and similarly to Spanish; which I previously studied and then completely forgot, I would love to study both of these again at some point - it's written here, so you can hold me to it!
The Life of A Social Butterfly blog has been created to motivate me to do more of the things I enjoy and experience life. After many years of reviewing hotels, restaurants and attractions on TripAdvisor and becoming one of the top 1% of reviewers in my city, I felt it was about time I got the confidence to create my own page to share the places I have visited to combine my interests in travel, photography, fashion and events. I am determined life will not unwittingly pass me by any longer and I will find my wings and become a social butterfly.
