Blogosphere Valentines Afternoon Tea

Yesterday I attended my first ever Blogosphere event with the lovely Amanda Alston, who is also a Milton Keynes blogger.

For those reading this post who aren't bloggers, you may be thinking what the hell is Blogosphere... Well, Blogosphere is a magazine made by bloggers for bloggers, containing features from bloggers with information on how they got started, increased their stats, worked with brands and lots of other tips. Whilst containing feature articles from big blogger names such as Zoella and Inthefrow, who I met at the Karen Millen In Focus event in October, the magazine also contains posts from a plethora of niche genres.

Well worth a read if you're a blogger or looking to get started on the blogging scene.

Not only a magazine, Blogosphere also do Twitter chats and events to enable bloggers to engage by meeting other bloggers and brands.

Blogosphere Valentines Afternoon Tea

The Blogosphere Valentines Afternoon Tea was held at the Tropical Library Lumiere London, which is a stunning venue with exposed brick, bookshelves, and couches worthy of a Friends set.

The Brands

The Duppy Share

Welcome drinks on arrival came from The Duppy Share with their gintastic LoveDup punch, ideal for summer days and BBQs and I'm looking forward to trying out some of their concoctions myself.

Glo&Ray

Exciting new beauty brand Glo&Ray had a fabulous range of lipsticks and eyeliners in some amazing colours. Definitely, a brand to look out for! I couldn't help but get a swatch below...

Dr. Lipp

I have always been intrigued by the Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm, though it was a brand I was yet to try out for myself. The award winning beauty brand’s product contains one single ingredient, Lanolin, which is more commonly used to heal sensitive nipples. Talking to brand representative Maddi, (who I must say had the most flawless makeup!) I learned that the product could be used in multiple ways including: taming frizzy flyaway hair/brows, heal skin, lock in highlighter, moisturise cuticles as well as give you perfectly nourished lips.

It was great to meet Maddi and learn more about the brand. I can't wait to use the sample for this cruelty-free and 100% natural product.

Book Your Lifestyle

Booking a spa treatment has never been easier with the Book Your Lifestyle website, which has recommendations for spas across the country. Who doesn't love a spa day...I'm looking forward to enjoying my birthday spa treat with my bestie Jo at the Verulamium Spa in St Albans in the coming months.

Samaya

Samaya is an all-natural beauty brand with skin care tailored for to your lifestyle.

My dosha is Kapha, with had a rich earthy smell with wood scents, ideal for my laid back nature. Find your Dosha by clicking here.

Kat Von D

A brand we were all excited about was Kat Von D, whose intense lip colours and palettes had taken the beauty industry by storm. With every colour under the rainbow as seen below…

When it comes to packaging Kat Von D do not scrimp on the details, and the tin on their new Too Faced X Kat Von D Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection is particularly beautiful.

As is the packaging for the contour palette contained in my goody bag.

The Lock-it foundation comes in astounding 30 shades, with Alix from Kat Von D doing a great job of keeping us all looking flawless for the event.

Just what we needed before our Flash The Pack Blogosphere photoshoot…

Amanda and I thoroughly enjoyed our first Blogosphere event, thanks to the Blogosphere team and all the brands who were at the event or contributed to our goody bag.

It's exciting discovering new brands and product launches, as I discovered from trying out the Irresistible Me Jade Straightening Brush (read the post here)

If you fancy going to the next Blogosphere event, be sure to check out their events page by clicking here.

Thanks for reading,
